Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

The tuition fee for this program is just £1998. Finance is also available subject to status.

Is this Program accredited?

Yes! This program has been independently assessed by the CPD Standards Office. It is also a level-4 equivalent Program.

How long will it take me to complete the Program?

On average this Program takes around 3 - 6 months to complete. We recommend allowing around 10 hours a week to study. Many of our students successfully complete the Program around full-time jobs or other commitments.

Will I get proof of my certification?

Yes! You will receive your certificate in the post within 21 days of graduating. Your certificate is printed on the same paper that Oxford uses to print their degrees. Your certificate will include our DTC hologram and unique identifier should anyone question the validity of your qualification. You will also receive a digital badge that you can proudly display on your marketing materials.

Do I need to attend anything in-person?

No. You can complete this Program entirely online.

Is there anything practical on the Program?

Yes, each section of the program has a practical task to complete. These are designed to put your theory into practice. You can video the tasks and get feedback from your mentors and fellow students too.

Will I get a Mentor?

You will get more than one! Our Mentors have a wealth of experience and are active Senior Dog Trainers. They will bring real cases to the coaching calls so that you can see how behaviour modification and training works with real dogs and their owners.

What happens when I graduate?

You will become a DTC Certified Dog Trainer (DTC-CDT). As a Certified Dog Trainer, you will be able to work with clients either 1:1, in classes or by delivering workshops. You will also start receiving Client referrals from DTC.

I have Dyslexia. Is this Program suitable for me?

Over 25%+ of our students also have Dyslexia or another learning or support need. That’s why all of our lessons are short, concise, use animated text overlays, have subtitles and downloadable transcripts and audio.
